IT'S NOT A PROGRAM, IT'S A PROCESS
True Discipleship is the process of taking Christ's teachings and instilling them into our lives in such a way that we strive daily to live like Christ. It is a process that should be occurring consistently in each of our lives. Discipleship is a lifestyle, which means following Christ will require significant changes in the the way we, as Christians, think and live. A true disciple is always willing to follow his Master, while trying to glean things from Jesus' life and applying them to their own. Christians endure struggles and hardships just like everyone else and they need a place where they can ask hard questions and then learn, as a follower of Christ, the process of how they should respond to life's difficulties. This is our goal for Discipleship Training at NMBC.
Discipleship Training begins at 5:00PM each Sunday Evening (August - May) with classes meeting throughout the NMBC campus. This time is dedicated mainly for Christians who want to grow deeper in their knowledge of the Scripture. Each class is designed to lead participants into a deeper personal relationship with Christ in regards to a particular topic or book study. Classes vary each semester and have included a Women's Ministry Bible Study, an Evangelism Training Class (The Way of the Master), a Biblically-Based Finance Class, and a Church History Class, and a Book-of-the-Bible Class among many others. Whether you are looking to delve deeper into God's Word or learn more about how you can apply your personal walk with Christ into different realms of your life, we want to help give you the tools so that you can mature as a Christian in every aspect of your life.
